Introduction

Under the condition of constant load, temperature (23+-1)C and relative humidity (50+-5)%, the stickiness of adhesive tape to standard steel plate was measured by the failure time of adhesive tape.Stickiness to standard steel plate: a adhesive tape is pasted to a standard steel plate at a controlled rolling rate.The steel plate is installed vertically or horizontally, and a standard weight is hung at the free end of the adhesive tape to determine the time of adhesive failure.

Note: The vertical method is used for the measurement of stickiness with failure time less than 4h/the horizontal method is used for the measurement of stickiness with failure time greater than 4h

Scope of application

It is suitable for adhesive tape, protective film, label, plaster and other products to carry out stickiness test. The resistance of adhesive samples to pull-off can be represented by the displacement of adhesive samples or the time when the samples are completely detached after a certain period of time.

Instrument features

Operation method

1.Wipe the surface of the steel plate until clean and dry for 10min.

2.Obtain multiple samples according to standard requirements.

3.Align the steel plate calibration at the end of the sample.

4.Roll the sample onto the steel plate at a speed of 10mm/s under dead weight (old standard 3 back and forth).

5.Pass the other end of the sample through the loading plate, fold it in half and bind the staple (test within 1min, old standard 20min)

6.Press the reset button to reset the time

7.Hang the test sample on the test stand.

8.Gently insert the weight into the loading plate to prevent shear impact force.

9.Test results.(Record the time at which the specimen is completely separated from the steel plate or the distance at which the specimen falls from the steel plate scale in a specified time)

10. Clean and return(Wipe the steel plate, loading plate and weight into the special box)

Notes for operation

The machine should be kept level and stable.

Clean and wipe the steel plate after the test.

In order to ensure the uniform stress of the sample, the sample should be centered and pasted on the steel plate.
