Meaning and Purpose
4.1 Traffic coatings need to have good resistance to oil and fuel dripping on highways. The test method describes the procedures required to evaluate the resistance of a traffic paint to a reference test fluid to simulate such actions.

Scope of
1.1 This specification describes a laboratory procedure for determining the resistance of a traffic paint dry film to the action of a specified hydrocarbon solvent or gasoline fuel test fluid.
