Different tests should be performed to determine the following properties of refined benzene-53: minimum na kadalisayan, maximum toluene content, maximum sulfur content, maximum thiophene content, maximum non-aromatics content, maximum nitrogen content, water content, maximum pickling color, hitsura, maximum color, 1,4 dioxane content, and minimum freezing point on an anhydrous basis.

1.1 This specification includes benzene grades known as refined benzene-53.
1.2 The following applies to all specified limits in this standard: In order to determine consistency with this standard, observed or calculated values should be “rounded” sa “nearest unit” in the last right-handed digit used in the expression of the specification in accordance with the rounding method of Practice E29.
