Tasse à gravité spécifique pour peinture de revêtement en acier inoxydable QBB
1.Use:
QBB type paint specific gravity cup is designed and manufactured according to GB6750-86 “Determination of color Paint and Varnish Density”.Used to determine the density (or specific gravity) of liquid paints, varnishes and related products at specified temperatures.

- 2. Instruments Fou Testing
(1) Specific gravity cup: QBB-37, 50 et 100 type coating specific gravity cup (mass/volume cup) made of aluminum alloy (acier inoxydable) with volume of 37mL, 50ml and 100mL;
(2) Thermomètre: degree 0.1°C, accuracy 0.2°C;
(3) Requirements for water bath or constant temperature: If high test accuracy is required, it should be kept within the range of ±0.5°C of test temperature, and ±0.2°C of test temperature for production control;
(4) Balance analytique (or electronic scale) : the accuracy should reach 0.2 mg.

- Test Steps
(1) Clean the specific gravity cup with a solvent that does not leave residue after evaporation and dry it;
(2) Weigh the specific gravity cup at room temperature (weigh the specific gravity cup cover together), and the difference between the two weighing data shall not be greater than 0.5 mg (mg);
(3) Under the condition that the temperature is lower than the test temperature and no more than 1°C, fill the cup with distilled water (to prevent bubbles) and place it under constant temperature until the specific gravity cup and the contents are constant. Wipe off the overflow and the exterior of the specific gravity cup with absorbent materials;
(4) Immediately weigh the specific gravity cup filled with distilled water to 0.001% of its mass;
(5) Determination of test density: replace distilled water with sample and repeat the above steps;
(6) Density calculation formula :(calculate the density pl of the sample at the test temperature according to the formula)
Pl is equal to m squared minus m zero over v
Où: PL — density g/ml
M2– the mass of the specific gravity cup and sample G
M0– the mass g of the empty specific gravity cup
V– specific gravity cup volume ml
T — Test temperature °C

- Specific gravity cup volume accounting
Due to the environmental temperature, humidité, pressure and other conditions, the physical and chemical properties of the metal specific gravity cup may cause extremely slight changes in the volume of the specific gravity cup. If high measurement accuracy is required, the volume of the specific gravity cup should be calculated periodically.
V= (m1-m0) /p
Où: V—- volume ml
M1– the mass g of the specific gravity cup and water
M0– G of empty gravity cup
P.– Density of water at 23°C or other temperatures (see table below) g/ mL
Densité:
Température (°C) | Densité (g/m) | Température (°C) | Densité (g/m) |
15 | 0.9991 | 23 | 0.9975 |
16 | 0.9989 | 24 | 0.9973 |
17 | 0.9987 | 25 | 0.997 |
18 | 0.9986 | 26 | 0.9968 |
19 | 0.9984 | 27 | 0.9965 |
20 | 0.9982 | 28 | 0.9962 |

6. Matters needing Attention
Wash the specific gravity cup immediately after use, dry it or dry it (preferably with some protective oil) and put it in the box at room temperature.
