5.1 The information provided by this test method can be used for material specifications for product design and quality assurance applications. Can be used to compare different products.

1.1 This test method covers the measurement of the breaking tensile strength (kekuatan putus) and tensile properties (pemanjangan) of pressure-sensitive tapes and labels. It includes programs for machine orientation and transversal, high strength filament reinforced backing and high elastic backing.
