The 3671 series vector network analyzer can scan up to 43ms (typical value) under the condition of full frequency 201 point scan and 600kHz IF bandwidth, and provides one-click scan time test function for easy evaluation.

Time domain analysis (optional)
3671 series vector network analyzer can realize the switch between the frequency domain and the time domain of the measurement results by configuring the time domain measurement optional, to determine the location of the discontinuous points in the device, fixture or cable, to achieve accurate fault location.
3671 series vector network analyzer provides virtual eye image generation and analysis function based on S parameter. The simulation code output unit is used to generate data bits with changes of 0 and 1, and the time domain impulse response of the simulation code pattern and the tested part is convolved, and the virtual eye map is obtained after superposition. Depending on high-speed digital communication standards, the advanced time domain analysis option can perform efficient Pass/Fail testing using a pre-defined eye map template.

Advanced Time Domain Analysis (TDR option)
With the rapid development of the information industry, the demand for network bandwidth is getting higher and higher. Advanced time domain analysis options can apply jitter, noise and other disturbance that information equipment (such as large servers, computers and switches, etc.) can bear on the simulation eye map. Through the addition of correction algorithms such as pre-weighting and equalization, the simulation of high data rate in the real environment is getting faster and faster. Information equipment manufacturers pay more and more attention to the signal integrity in high-speed interconnect channels. The characteristics of transmission links will significantly affect the simulation eye map at different locations of the speed link. Advanced time domain analysis option is an important means to evaluate the transmission quality of high-speed link signal. TDR time domain impedance test can accurately test the changes of impedance characteristics on the transmission line and locate discontinuities. Convenient near-end and far-end crosstalk test, can simultaneously analyze time domain and frequency domain data, used to test the degree of interaction between multiple transmission lines.
Automatic fixture removal (optional)
The measurement objects of vector network analyzer are related to non-standard joint devices, such as encapsulated microwave devices and on-chip devices. The most notable feature of this type of device is that it cannot be directly connected to the vector network analyzer. The fixture can be connected to the vector network analyzer, but the fixture error is also introduced. The automatic fixture removal function can extract, store and embed the fixture parameters to obtain the real parameters of the tested parts. It is easy to operate and has high precision. By using the automatic fixture removal function, the NEQUALIZER extracts the balance parameters of the tested component as a whole and performs four-port de-embedding. The test results show that the transmission parameters can be well removed, and the proximal and remote crosstalk can also be effectively removed. When describing the fixture, you can set the single-end fixture and differential fixture, and also select the port number of the fixture and other information. To extract the parameters of the fixture, it is necessary to measure the standard of the fixture. In the standard description interface, the fixture standard includes three types: straight through standard, open circuit standard and short circuit standard.
