Gb19083-2010 technical requirements for medical protective masks

Synthetic blood penetration test;

2 mL synthetic blood was sprayed into the mask at a pressure of 10.7 kPa (80 mmHg). No infiltration should occur inside the mask.

YY 0469-2011 synthetic blood penetration test of surgical masks:

2 mL synthetic blood was sprayed into the mask at a pressure of 16.0 kPa (120 mmHg). No infiltration should occur inside the mask.

YY 0469-2011 synthetic blood penetration test of surgical masks:

Sample quantity: test with 3 samples.

Sample pretreatment: the sample was pretreated at least 4 h at temperature (21)C and relative humidity (85)%, and the test was carried out within 1 min after being taken out.

Test process: the sample is fixed on the sample fixture on the instrument, and the 2 mL table is placed 30.5cm away from the sample center

The surface tension was 0.002n /m with a pressure of 16.0 kPa (120 mmHg)

The needle tube with a diameter of 0.84mm was sprayed in a horizontal direction to the target area of the sample under test. Visual inspection was conducted within 10 s after removal.

Result treatment: check the inner side of the sample for penetration.If visual inspection is suspicious, use a absorbent cotton swab or similar to rub the inside of the target area and determine if there is synthetic blood penetration.The results shall meet the standard requirements.
