O prefață
ISO (Organizația Internațională pentru Standardizare) este o alianță globală a organismelor naționale de standardizare (organismele membre ISO). Elaborarea standardelor internaționale se realizează de obicei prin intermediul comitetelor tehnice ISO. This document has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 35 (Vopsele și lacuri), Subcomisia SC 9 (General test methods for paints and varnishes), in cooperation with the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) Technical Committee CEN/TC 139 (Vopsele și lacuri), in accordance with the ISO/ CEN Technical Cooperation Agreement (Acordul de la Viena).

The third edition eliminates and replaces the technically revised second edition (ISO 15528:2013) și ISO 8130-9:1992. Compared with the previous edition, the main changes are as follows:

Introducere
Sampling depends on the size of the product and container, but not on the type of product, precum vopselele, lacuri, paint powders, adezivi, pigmenti, fillers or solvents. 1 Domeniul de aplicare
The document specifies procedures for sampling paints and varnishes, including paint powders, and raw materials used in their manufacture. Such products include liquids and materials that are not chemically modified and can liquify when heated, as well as powders, granules and pastes. Samples may be taken from containers, such as cans, barrels, tanks, tank cars or ship tanks, or from barrels, sacks, large bags, silos or silo cars or conveyors.

This document does not address sample preparation for testing or reducing samples thus collected, which is covered in ISO 1513.

3 Termeni și definiții

A given quantity of material produced under uniform conditions

Total amount of material to be sampled

A portion of a product removed from bulk material by a single sampling operation

3.4 Representative Samples

A sample conforming to all the characteristics of the sampled material within the accuracy of the test method used

Mixtures of equivalent parts of a single sample (3.3)

Individual samples collected on or near the surface of the material (3.3)

A single sample (3.3) was collected at a level equivalent to approximately half of the total volume below the surface
