O prefață
ISO (Organizația Internațională pentru Standardizare) este o alianță globală a organismelor naționale de standardizare (organismele membre ISO). Elaborarea standardelor internaționale se realizează de obicei prin intermediul comitetelor tehnice ISO. Fiecare instituție membră interesată de un subiect pe care a fost înființat un comitet tehnic are dreptul de a fi reprezentată în comitet. Second edition cancel and replace the first edition (ISO 6860:1984), the revised version has been technology. The main changes are:

– increase in the first paragraph 5.1 the instructions of aluminum plate rolling direction;

— The diameter of the small end of the cone has been changed to (3,1 ± 0,1) mm so that the equipment standardized in ASTM conforms to international standards;

– edited text revision.

Introducere
This international standard is one of five documents (see also ISO 1519, ISO 1520, ISO 6272-1 și ISO 6272-2) that provide empirical test procedures for the evaluation of the resistance of paints, varnish and related product coatings to cracking and/or exfoliation from substrates under different deformation conditions.

1 Domeniul de aplicare
This INTERNATIONAL standard describes an empirical test procedure for evaluating the resistance of paints, varnishes or related product coatings to cracking and/or shedding from metal substrates when bent around tapered manshafts under standard conditions.

For multi-coating systems, each coating can be tested individually or the entire system can be tested.
