1.1 The test method includes the evaluation of the degree of peeling (љуштење) of exterior wall coatings by comparison with photographic standards.

1.2 Вредности изражене у СИ јединицама сматрају се стандардним. Вредности дате у заградама су само за референцу.

1.3 This test method is similar to, but not identical to, ИСО 4628 Парт 5. Исо 4628 Парт 5 uses a rating scale from 0 до 5, where level 0 is unchanged and level 5 is the most stringent. Test method D772 uses a rating scale from 10 до 0, where level 10 is unchanged and level 0 is the most severe. The two criteria use different picture reference photographs to determine the rank values.
