1 Обим примене
This document specifies a method for identifying entry marks that may occur during the electrodeposition coating process. When a work piece set as a cathode or anode is immersed in an electrodeposition tank at an applied potential (the relationship between voltage and current), the entry mark will usually appear as a stripe. These marks appear parallel to the bath surface on the object to be coated.

It is suitable for electrodeposited coatings in the automotive industry and other general industrial applications, such as chiller, consumer products, radiators, aerospace, agriculture.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in ISO 4618, ИСО 22553-1 and below apply.

3.1 Starting voltage
