1. Before the test, prepare the grinding wheel (abrasion wheel) required for the material of the test piece, and the grinding wheel used for the surface skin is (rubber wheel). The customer also provides several pieces of fine sandpaper for the grinding wheel verification.

2. Set the number of test turns to 50 times (the number of test turns can be set according to the different needs of the test), put down the test arm and the dust suction arm, turn on the power switch and the vacuum cleaner switch, adjust the air volume, and turn on the motor switch of the product to start operation. Rubber grinding wheel, each time before the operation of the test piece wear test, must be grinding 50 times with fine sand wheel.

3. After shutdown, remove the sand layer of the leather surface with a small brush, and remove the test piece together with double-sided tape to weigh precision scales.

DIN abrasion testing machine working principle

1, under the specified contact pressure and a given area, the sample and the sandpaper at a certain Angle, to determine the wear of the sample in a certain level of sandpaper friction.

2. The sandpaper is attached to the surface of the drum, and the sample is pressed tightly on the roll with sandpaper, so that the sample moves horizontally along the drum.

3, the wear is generated at one end of the cylindrical sample, the mass loss value of the sample is measured, and the volume wear is calculated by the density of the sample.
