This document was prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 45, Rubber and Rubber Products, 小组委员会SC 2, Testing and Analysis.
The sixth edition cancels and replaces the technically revised fifth edition (国际标准化组织 1431-1:2012).

Ozone is usually found in small amounts in the atmosphere. 然而, even very small amounts of ozone can cause the sensitive rubber to crack under tensile strain, resulting in a loss of strength. 所以, it is necessary to test the resistance of rubber to ozone.
Due to the uncertainty of natural exposure, ozone resistance testing of rubber is usually carried out in the laboratory using specially designed ozone cabinets.

1 范围

3.1 Threshold strain
