ASTM D4355-0 Standardní zkušební metoda pro poškození geotextilií vystavením světlu, Vlhkost, a Teplo v xenonových obloukových zařízeních
ASTM D4355 je standardní zkušební metoda pro znehodnocování geotextilií vystavených světlu, vlhkost, and heat in xenon arc type equipment. This test describes the determination of tensile strength degradation of any permeable textile material used for soil, foundation, půda, rock, atd. It is based on ASTM G155 practices.

Deterioration of geotextiles
By exposing the sample to xenon arc radiation, moisture and heat (end-use conditions), it is intended to cause property changes. Ve skutečnosti, when exposed to these types of factors, polymers can have significantly altered mechanical, electrical, and optical properties. Localized weather-induced deterioration simulations, such as atmospheric pollution, biological attacks, and saline exposure, are not expected by the exposures used in this practice. After each exposure period, the sample is cut or stretched strip stretched to produce a degradation curve. The latter allows users to determine the tendency of geotextile materials to deteriorate when exposed to various factors such as solar radiation, water and heat. For a combination of UV exposure and salt water, you should consider ASTM D5894.
