1.1 The test method includes the evaluation of the degree of peeling (pagbabalat ng balat) of exterior wall coatings by comparison with photographic standards.

1.3 This test method is similar to, but not identical to, ISO 4628 Bahagi 5. Iso 4628 Bahagi 5 uses a rating scale from 0 sa 5, where level 0 is unchanged and level 5 is the most stringent. Test method D772 uses a rating scale from 10 sa 0, where level 10 is unchanged and level 0 is the most severe. The two criteria use different picture reference photographs to determine the rank values.
