ISO 8502-11-2006 Paghahanda ng mga substrate ng bakal bago pagpipinta at mga kaugnay na produkto – Test for assessment of surface cleanliness – Bahagi 11: Field method for determination of water soluble sulfate by turbidimetry

panimula

Publication as an international standard requires approval by a vote of at least 75% of the member bodies.

Mangyaring tandaan na ang ilang mga elemento ng dokumentong ito ay maaaring maging paksa ng mga karapatan sa patent. Ang ISO ay hindi mananagot para sa pagtukoy ng anuman o lahat ng naturang patente.

ISO 8502-11-2006 Paghahanda ng mga substrate ng bakal bago pagpipinta at mga kaugnay na produkto – Test for assessment of surface cleanliness – Bahagi 11: Field method for determination of water soluble sulfate by turbidimetry

ISO 8502-11 was developed by Technical Committee ISO/TC 35, Mga Pintura at Varnishes, Sub-Committee SC 12, Preparation of steel substrates prior to the application of paints and related products.

ISO 8502 binubuo ng mga sumusunod na bahagi, under the general heading Preparation of steel substrates prior to painting and associated productsSurface cleanliness assessment tests:

– Bahagi 2: Laboratory determination of chlorides on clean surfaces

– Bahagi 3: Assessment of dust on the surface of steel to be painted (pressure sensitive tape method)

– Bahagi 4: Guidelines for estimating condensation probability before painting

– Bahagi 5: Determination of chlorides on coated steel surfaces (ion tube method)

– Bahagi 6: Extraction of soluble contaminants for analysisBresle method

– Bahagi 8: Field method for determination of moisture refraction

– Bahagi 9: Field method for determination of conductance of water-soluble salts

– Bahagi 11: Field method for determination of water-soluble sulfate by turbidimetry

– Bahagi 12: Field method for titration of water-soluble ferrous ions

Parts 1 at 10 have been withdrawn. As Part 7, field methods for determining oils and greases are being considered.

ipakilala ang
The performance of protective coatings applied to steel paints and related products is significantly affected by the state of the steel surface prior to coating. The main factors known to affect this performance are:

a) The presence of rust and oxide;

b) the presence of surface contaminants, including salt, alikabok na, oil and grease;

c) Surface profile.

International standards ISO 8501, ISO 8502 at ISO 8503 are ready to provide methods for assessing these factors, while ISO 8504 provides guidance on preparation methods that can be used to clean steel substrates, indicating the ability of each method to achieve a specific level of cleanliness.

These international standards do not contain recommendations for protective coating systems for steel surfaces. They also do not contain recommendations for surface quality requirements for specific situations, even though surface quality can directly affect the choice of protective coating to be applied and its performance. Such recommendations can be found in other documents, such as national standards and codes of practice. Users of these international standards need to ensure that the specified quality is:

Compatible and appropriate with the environmental conditions to which the steel will be exposed and the protective coating system to be used;

Within the capacity of the prescribed cleaning procedures.

The above four international standards cover the following aspects of steel substrate preparation:

ISO 8501 – Visual assessment of surface cleanliness

ISO 8502 – Surface cleanliness assessment test

ISO 8503 – Surface roughness characteristics of sandblasting steel substrates;

ISO 8504 – Mga pamamaraan ng paggamot sa ibabaw.

Each of these international standards is divided into separate sections.

There are a variety of methods that can be used to analyze sulfate in solution. Gayunpaman, most of these are used in laboratories and few are suitable for field use, i.e. in combination with sampling in workshops, construction sites, ships, atbp., which are often under harsh environmental conditions.

This in situ method for sulfates, as well as corresponding analytical methods developed for other contaminants such as ferrous ions, chlorides, oils and greases, are intended to be used in conjunction with the Bresle method to remove contaminated surfaces, ISO 8502-6. These analytical methods provide results that directly represent the amount of contaminants per unit surface area, usually expressed in mg/m 2, after the application of a simple conversion factor. The same analytical method can also be used in conjunction with other contaminant extraction methods.
