5.1 In areas where clothing or upholstered furniture rubs against walls, the interior flat paint may become smooth. This friction can produce a smoother, smoother surface in the contact area, depending on the level or type of pigment in the paint and the hardness of the adhesive. This method allows for a more quantitative estimate of light resistance compared to methods using manual friction techniques.
