ISO (הארגון הבינלאומי לתקינה) היא ברית גלובלית של גופי תקינה לאומיים (גופים חברי ISO). פיתוח תקנים בינלאומיים מתבצע בדרך כלל באמצעות ועדות טכניות של ISO. כל מוסד חבר המעוניין בנושא שעליו הוקמה ועדה טכנית זכאי להיות מיוצג באותה ועדה. ארגונים ממשלתיים ולא-ממשלתיים בינלאומיים המקיימים קשר עם ISO מעורבים גם הם בעבודה זו. This document has been prepared by the ISO/TC 256 Technical Committee on Pigments, Dyes and Fillers.

The first version of ISO 1247-2, together with ISO 1247-1, cancelled and replaced the technically revised ISO 1247-1974. It also incorporates the amendment to ISO 1247-1974 /Amd 1:1982.

The main changes from the previous edition are as follows:

– The title has changed;

– Adds mandatory Article 3, מונחים והגדרות, and includes the definition of vacuum metallized aluminium pigments (VMP);

— The original clause 3 “תיאור” has been deleted and the contents are listed in the new Terms and Definitions Clause (3.1);

— Deletion of the original Article 4 “מִיוּן”;

— The requirements and test methods of “leaf power supply” have been deleted;

– מאמר 5, now article 4, has been renamed “דרישות ושיטות בדיקה”;

— The original article 6 “אריזה” is deleted;

— The original article 7 “sampling” has been reduced to a reference to ISO 15528 and has been renumbered as Article 5;

— The normative references have been updated, and the texts have been edited and revised.
