מבוא

This document was prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 107, Metal and Other Inorganic Coatings, Sub-Committee SC 4, Hot-Dip Coatings (Galvanizing, וכו ').

The second edition cancels and replaces the first edition (ISO 14713-2:2009), which has been technically revised. The main changes compared with the previous edition are as follows:

Minor technical changes have been made and two new comments have been added to Table 1.

The protection of hot-dip galvanized coating on the product depends on the application method of the coating, the design of the product and the specific environment to which the product is exposed. Hot-dip galvanized articles may be further protected by the application of additional coatings (outside the scope of this document), such as organic coatings (paints or powder coatings). When applied to hot-dip galvanized products, this coating combination is often referred to as a “two-phase system.”

There may be specific product-related requirements for specific standards (לְמָשָׁל, hot-dip galvanizing coatings on pipes or fasteners) that take precedence over these general recommendations.

This document gives guidance and recommendations on general design principles applicable to post-manufacturing hot-dip galvanized articles (לְמָשָׁל, according to ISO 1461) in case of corrosion, לְמָשָׁל, articles manufactured according to EN 1090- 2.

This document does not apply to hot-dip galvanizing coatings applied to continuous wires or plates (לְמָשָׁל. IN 10346).
