ISO 2179-1986 “Common national standard for Electroplating Bonding strength Test”

c1 friction test
The test was carried out on a coating with an area of not more than 000mm2 on the main surface using the 10,000 method specified in GB/T5270.

In a handle length of 60~100mm, the length of the masher is 30~50mm, the width is 5~10mm, and the knife edge is ground to the end. Chamfered dental agate scrapers are more satisfactory as rubbing tools.

c2 bending test
Put the sample in the appropriate instrument (or clamp of the forceps) that can make the bending radius of the sample 4mm, bend the sample over 90°, and return to the original position. Do this three times to check whether there is any sign of detachment of the sample coating.

c3 thermal shock test
Note – This test may have adverse effects on the mechanical properties of the specimen. Therefore, the sample should not be used for other tests after the test.

The ten thousand method specified in GB/T5270 is adopted.
