This international standard is one of five standards that specify empirical testing procedures for assessing the resistance of paints, varnishes and related product coatings to cracking and/or detachment from substrate under different deformation conditions. Other international standards are ISO 1519, ISO 1520, ISO 6272 ISO 6860.
