1.1 Acest ghid acoperă o listă de metode de testare, practices and specifications that can be used to test and evaluate printing inks, printing ink films and substrates used in production.

1.2 This guide includes methods developed for testing paints, film and substrates, but may be applicable for testing printing inks and printed matter. Testing of raw materials and analytical methods is generally not included. The testing of printing ink vehicles is described in Guide D 6687.
