This document has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 35 (Боје и лакови), Subcommittee SC 9, General test methods for paints and fading, in cooperation with the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) Technical Committee CEN/TC 139, Боје и лакови, in accordance with the Technical Cooperation Agreement (Vienna Agreement) between ISO and CEN.

The second edition cancels and replaces the first edition (ИСО 8130-2:1992), which has been technically revised. Compared with the previous edition, the main changes are as follows:

— Scope has been edited and revised;

– Added terms and definitions (Чланак 3);

– The gas has changed from air or helium to helium or nitrogen;

– The procedure is consistent with the actual operation;

– The acceptable difference between two results (article 9) is given as a percentage;

— The text has been edited and revised, and normative references have been updated.
