1 Scope and domain of application
ISO'nun bu kısmı 3856 describes a flameless atomic absorption spectrometry method for the determination of mercury content in test solutions, prepared in accordance with ISO 6713 or another appropriate international standard.

This method is suitable for paints with a “çözünür” mercury content in the range of approximately 0,005 ile 0,05 % (m/m), but the part of the method that covers the liquid portion of the paint to be examined is limited to water-diluted paints.

Not – ISO 3856 The procedures described in this section are intended to be performed by qualified chemists or other appropriately trained and/or supervised personnel. The substances and procedures used in this method may be harmful to health if proper precautions are not taken. The text draws attention to certain specific risks (Görmek 4.6 Ve 4.7).
