The third edition to cancel and replace the technically revised second edition (ISO 9717:2010). The following changes were made:

– scope has clearly;

Phosphate conversion coatings are applied to ferrous metals, алюміній, zinc and their alloys (including galvanized and zinc-alloyed steel, cadmium and their alloys) as end faces or as interlayers for other coatings. They are designed to

— Imparts corrosion resistance,

– Improves adhesion to paints and other organic finishes,

– promote cold forming operation, such as drawing, tubing, and extrusion, так само

Phosphate conversion coating is produced by solution treatment, its main composition is proper orthophosphoric acid dihydrogen salt. These coatings are mainly applied to ferrous materials and zinc, and the coating quality and apparent density per unit area vary depending on
