What tests should be done to protect film

PE protective film is made of special polyethylene (PE) plastic film as the substrate, polyacid (ester) resin as the main material of pressure sensitive adhesive, and then processed by several special additives.Soft property, good adhesion, easy to stick, easy to peel, peel no glue residue.

The parameter viscosity of the protective film refers to the amount and quality of the glue, the quality of the protective film is determined by the quality of the glue and the quality of the original film.So how do we know the quality of protective film, today we do a protective film quality detection method to do a demonstration for you.

Mechanical property test:

Peeling strength: used for peeling the PE plastic mask of the protective film from the silicon on the coating.

Adhesive strength: used for testing the initial adhesive energy and durable adhesive performance of the protective film, to prevent falling off after a period of use.

Elongation: used for testing the elongation and toughness of the protective film, good toughness of its elasticity and elongation is better, impact resistance is strong;Toughness is poor, brittle thin and easy to tear, impact resistance is poor.

Environmental tolerance test:

Aging resistance test: 300W ultraviolet radiation under the condition of 50 for 240 hours, no cracking, no deformation, tear off the surface without residual glue phenomenon.

Moisture resistance test: 1 hour light +1 hour rain after 240 hours will not peel off, after stripping the surface without glue residue.
