1 Scope and domain of application
هذا الجزء من ISO 3856 describes a flameless atomic absorption spectrometry method for the determination of mercury content in test solutions, prepared in accordance with ISO 6713 or another appropriate international standard.

This method is suitable for paints with a “قابل للذوبان” mercury content in the range of approximately 0,005 ل 0,05 % (m/m), but the part of the method that covers the liquid portion of the paint to be examined is limited to water-diluted paints.
