ASTM G10-10-2019 Standard Test Method for Specific Bendability of Pipe Coatings

Meaning and use
4.1 This test will provide information on the ability of the coating applied to the pipe to resist cracking, peeling or other mechanical damage due to bending. Because the test is applicable to commercially produced coated pipes, the results can be directly used to select similar service materials. This test can also be used as a quality control method when changes in coating application or material formulation will affect bending properties.
