4.2 Not all compliant coatings are the same in all respects, nor are they uniform. Changes in manufacturing (not covered by this specification) may cause some artists to prefer one brand over another, either of which may be accepted under this specification.

In order to identify other pigments that meet these requirements, instructions for the preparation of test samples are given. Refer to test methods to determine relative light resistance.
