הקדמה
ISO (הארגון הבינלאומי לתקינה) היא ברית גלובלית של גופי תקינה לאומיים (גופים חברי ISO). פיתוח תקנים בינלאומיים מתבצע בדרך כלל באמצעות ועדות טכניות של ISO. כל מוסד חבר המעוניין בנושא בו הוקמה ועדה טכנית זכאי להיות מיוצג בוועדה. ארגונים בינלאומיים ממשלתיים ובלתי-ממשלתיים העוסקים בקשר עם ארגוני תקינה מעורבים אף הם בעבודה זו. ISO עובד בשיתוף פעולה הדוק עם הנציבות האלקטרוטכנית הבינלאומית (חברת החשמל) בכל הקשור לתקינה חשמלית.

This document has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 107, Metallic and other Inorganic Coatings, ועדת המשנה SC 8, Chemically Transformed Coatings.

The third edition to cancel and replace the technically revised second edition (ISO 9717:2010). The following changes were made:

– scope has clearly;

— Normative references have been updated;

– Terms and definitions have been replaced by references to ISO 2080;

– The terms in clause 5 have been amended;

– The requirements of phosphate layer have been modified;

– The statement on corrosion resistance has been moved to the new Annex A;

– Annex B on salt spray tests has been amended;

מבוא
Phosphate conversion coatings are applied to ferrous metals, אֲלוּמִינְיוּם, zinc and their alloys (including galvanized and zinc-alloyed steel, cadmium and their alloys) as end faces or as interlayers for other coatings. They are designed to

— Imparts corrosion resistance,

– Improves adhesion to paints and other organic finishes,

– promote cold forming operation, such as drawing, tubing, and extrusion, as well

– Modification of surface friction properties to facilitate sliding.

Phosphate conversion coating is produced by solution treatment, its main composition is proper orthophosphoric acid dihydrogen salt. These coatings are mainly applied to ferrous materials and zinc, and the coating quality and apparent density per unit area vary depending on

– component of building materials and surface condition,

– prior to mechanical and chemical processing of parts, as well

– phosphating treatment conditions.

More or less all phosphate conversion coating is porous, but can be by subsequent sealant for which the material sealing process.
