Abstract

This specification covers film, paper and cloth types of pressure sensitive tape and is applied to packaging, box LIDS and seals. This specification covers five types of tape: waterbestendig, weather-resistant, polyester-supported tape (Type ik), water-resistant polyester-supported tape (Type II), water-resistant polypropylene supported tape (Type III), water-resistant woven fabric straps (Type IV) and weather-resistant paper straps. Tape should be manufactured using film, paper or cloth as backing and coated with a smooth and evenly distributed layer of pressure-sensitive water-insoluble adhesive.
