The specification defines the requirements for the composition, fysieke eigenschappen, prestaties en etikettering van gouachepigmenten. Pigmenten, carriers and additives are included here, including requirements for pigment identification, light fastness and consistency. This article lists some pigments that meet the light resistance requirements in this manual. In aanvulling, in order to identify other pigments that meet these requirements, instructions for test sample preparation and corresponding test methods for determining relative light resistance are given. 4.2 Not all compliant coatings are the same in all respects, nor are they uniform. Changes in manufacturing (not covered by this specification) may cause some artists to prefer one brand over another, either of which may be accepted under this specification.
