This document specifies different methods for calculating special indices that are commonly used to describe the brightness and inking of a sample, including chroma or hue within a color coordinate.

This document applies to tri-stimulus values and chrominance coordinates calculated using the color matching function of the CIE 1931 (2°) or CIE 1964 (10°) 标准比色系统. It is used to specify a color stimulus that is considered to belong to a reflection or transmission object that requires a one-dimensional value.
