ISO 483-1988 “Methods for Maintaining constant relative Humidity in small sealed Chambers using aqueous solutions

ISO 483:1988 is applicable to a small number of samples before the test of the shape adjustment or can be carried out in this small seal of the internal energy test, such as electrical performance test. The details are described below.
1 Scope of application
This standard specifies guidelines for the construction and use of all types of sealing junctions with a volume of less than 200dm3. A method for obtaining a constant phase humidity by placing a saturated aqueous solution, glycerol/aqueous solution or sulfuric acid aqueous solution into a hand-sealed box at a given temperature.

This method is suitable for adjusting the shape of a small number of samples before testing or testing that can be carried out in this small seal, such as electrical performance testing.

2 Reagents and instruments
2.1 All kinds of POTS prepared with seeds are analytically pure, oil and sulfuric acid are chemically pure, and steamed water or water of the same purity is used for preparation.

2.2 Air circulation system is recommended for sealed containers with volume less than 15dm’.

2.3 Containers with a volume of (15-200)dma shall be equipped with an internal air circulation system and a dry and wet bulb thermometer.

3 Operation Steps
3. The capacity of the sealed container. In the sealed container without air circulation, the total area of the sample should not exceed the surface area of the solution. In a container with air circulation, the specimen. The area may be 3 letters of the sum of the sample area in the unenclose container.

3.2 Method A – Saturated salt harbor solution, the relative humidity generated by saturated salt solution at a given temperature is shown in Table 1.

4. Standard resume and bid acquisition situation
This standard was established by ISO/TC61/ SC6in 1988, and is now the first edition.

There is no corresponding standard in our country.
