1.1 Deze testmethode 2 covers the laboratory determination of the relative leveling of water and solvent resolvable architectural coatings in white and light tones by comparing ridges generated in drawn films with a range of plastic leveling standards.

1.2 Colorless, textured, and dark-toned coatings cannot easily be evaluated with the shadows generated by the oblique lighting employed in this test method.
