5.1 This test method is suitable for setting specifications for the materials listed in Table 1 and is used as an internal quality control tool for the production of cyclohexane or for manufacturing processes. It can also be used in development or research work involving cyclohexane.

5.2 This test method can be used to determine the purity of cyclohexane in the presence of normal impurities. If there are extremely high boiling points or abnormal impurities in cyclohexane, this test method will not necessarily detect them, and the purity calculation will be wrong.

1.1 The test method includes determination of the purity of cyclohexane by gas chromatography. Калибрација система гасне хроматографије је завршена екстерном стандардном технологијом калибрације.

1.2 The test method has been found to be suitable for the impurities listed in Scale 1, which are impurities that may be found in cyclohexane. Impurities can be analyzed in the range of 3 to 200mg/kg by this method, but can be applied to a wider range.

1.3 The detection limit is 1 mg/kg.

1.4 When using this test method to determine the consistency of test results with applicable specifications, the results shall be rounded in accordance with the rounding method of Rule E29.
